Violence starts from slaughterhouse!

Moves into a shopping bag!

Comes to the dinner table

Served as delicious meal -

Delighting our face, watering our mouth!

With no sight of killing,

Cry for help, pain and suffering -

Glides into stomach for assimilation

Rests in small intestine for absorption!

Moves to every cell

Finds nest in the brain!

Gradually hardens sensitive mind

Teaches acceptance of abuse, violent crime!

Violence grows with larger appetite

Covered in fashion by peer pressures!

Eliminates childhood ideals and curiosity

Embraces alcohol, tobacco and pornography!

Justifies recreation for civilized being

Including boxing, hunting, racism or drive by shooting!

Violence accompany us leaving school

Crowds’ corporate boardrooms!

Applies management science for profits

Downgrading employee salary, security, benefits!

Seeded in teachers, lawyers, storeowners!

Scientists, politicians, labourers or brokers!

Judges, doctors, lawmakers, or law keepers

Displays horrors as convenient measures!

Baptized with Scripture’s blessings

Becomes part of a ‘Commander in chief’!

Inherits most destructive power

To fight a war or make a war!

Briefed in secrecy while golfing

Making decision while hunting

Addressing nation at prime time viewing -

Starts a war, justify troops sending!

Submerged in wine and jovial mood

Relaxed with friends inside cozy war room

Precisely delivers missiles, shells, nuclear bombs!

Destroys countries, beings of all forms –

Unaware, unprepared, unarmed, unknown!
