Not-enslaved
When
I was abandoned -
At
the height of my life without option
I
was bewildered, sad and scared to death!
Tried
very hard to go back to life as usual
Pretending
everything could be normal
Only
to be hurt again hardest
Making
me abandoned and wounded!
Faith
in God helped me gather strength
Love
in God brought my smile again!
Soon
I learned to embrace loneliness -
Without
being afraid of myself!
Cooking
my own gave the first sense of freedom
Gardening
became fun and leisure at home
Birds,
plants, animals became family without chores!
Walking
in the woods alone in silence
Gave
me a chance to find my inner self
Listening
to the birds the way I never heard before
Watching
rain and storm bringing message of hope
Feeling
of God arose inside free from Scripture’s Scrolls!
Always
wondered how to have own haircuts -
How
one gets massage without a trip to parlor?
Yoga
taught me the way of self-massaging
While
people wondered about my creative hairstyling!
Lack
of medical check ups and testing
Couldn’t
make me worrying anymore for disease!
My
dentist wasn’t very happy -
Knowing
I learned to clean my own teeth, finally!
