Nightmares are
worst dreams
Which seize us
unaware in deep sleep!
It is very
real until it ends
Waking us up
with a sigh of relief!
Scared,
sweating or shivering, still bewildered
We thank God
it wasn’t real after all!
But often
nightmares are real
Happening in
broad daylight or at night!
Eyes feel
hypnotized, mind in disbelief
Won’t ever
bring back solace ending sleep!
It happens
when Tsunami hits coastline
Or an
earthquake devastate normal life
Or one’s lover
is sleeping in someone else’s arms
Or terrorists
blowing up building, train or bus
Or underdogs
suffering from irresponsible tax and service cuts
Or invading
military marching on with brutal adventures -
Killing,
abusing, scorching everything in their ignorant victory path!
