After a long and exhaustive
search
For
Through nearby neighbourhood
and forest
Half-hearted mind wanted
another ad
In local newspaper under
citywide classified!
The phone rang in the evening
As I was having dinner after hard
work
Tired thinking what really
happened to her
Eagerly answered the precious caller!
Couldn’t believe the message at
first
An elderly voice saying they
have my lovebird!
Only to let me down in despair
Saying ‘she is wonderful for making
love’!
I hung up with thanks for the call
Wondered how mean can be some
human!
Even age couldn’t turn them as the
best animal!
Like many media blogs and talk
show hosts/anchors
Cheer viewers with casual jokes
about disasters
Often with personal attacks on
leaders and politicians!
