Let Us Congratulate the Democratic Government of Palestine – “Recognizing Palestine Is Recognizing Israel”! (Deepak Sarkar, April 18, 2006, www.kolki.com )

Let us utilize another historic moment ending the unbearable sufferings of the Palestinian people by congratulating democratically elected Government of Palestine! While the Conservative Party of Canada is ruling Canada with 36.3% popular vote, the Hamas won 44% popular vote under North American and European supervision to form the legitimate democratic Government of Palestine! We all know how the first democratic Government under President Arafat (83% popular vote) was destroyed and massacred by Israeli army insulting & ignoring the humane Oslo treaty!

Any world leader who doesn’t recognize the new Palestinian Government is simply against democracy and free will of people! It is time, the Western leaders rise and embrace the trivial fact “Recognizing Palestine is recognizing Israel”! Palestinian people were in their City State Canaan when Hebrew God asked Israelites to invade Canaan 3000+ years ago! That was just the beginning of the endless humiliation and sufferings of peace loving cultural ancient people of Palestine!

As some Western politicians and most private media loop around “Recognizing Israel” to justify pre-emptive missile strikes and demolition killing & injuring innocent family with children, let us review that Israel is a powerful State beyond recognition in the 87% occupied land of Palestine!

With trillion dollars of US Tax Payers money Israel is the 8^th largest military, 3^rd by Combat Power and 4^th best Air force in the world possessing all Nuclear, Chemical and Biological Weapons! Israel is the 2^nd country in the world after US in terms of start up companies exploring state of the art scientific and military technology! Israeli military is at par with US and British military training paramilitary forces around the world using private military personnel! Thus Israel is automatically recognized as soon as the world recognizes fractional Palestine!

We believe in the myth of free press and free speech when the one sided privately owned North American media ignores or misinforms people about the ongoing Palestinian sufferings in concentration camp like atmosphere for 35+ long years! The sad part is that the Israeli government, except under Prime Minister Rabin, have been hurting and humiliating the Palestinians with the US financial and military aid! Palestinians are no terrorists! The only terrorist is the Jewish person who assassinated Prime Minister YITZHAK RABIN and his right wing military accomplice, leaving the fate of the Palestinians in the hands of Israeli military regime with a democratic face who wants Palestine without Palestinian!
