Helpless 9/11 Pilots – losing control of the planes watching being flown as drones reprogramming flight paths/plans and transponder by remote military control


Pilot’s Nightmare


(8:13 a.m.): Flight 11 Hijacked, but Pilot Makes No Distress Call  Flight 11 is apparently hijacked around this time. One flight controller says the plane is hijacked over Gardner, Massachusetts, less than 50 miles west of Boston.


(After 8:14 a.m.-8:38 a.m.): Flight 11 Pilot Repeatedly Pushes Talk Back Button

A controller later says, “The button [is] being pushed intermittently most of the way to New York.” An article later notes that “his ability to do so also indicates that he [is] in the driver's seat much of the way” to the WTC. Such transmissions continue until about 8:38 a.m. [Emphasizes, there were no physical hijackers; they were electronic ghosts controlled by remote Humans sitting at the top of high-tech control and power!]

(8:15 a.m.): Flight Controllers Cannot Contact Flight 11

8:20 a.m.: Flight 11 IFF Signal Transmission Stops

(8:20 a.m.): Flight 11 Veers Off Course

(8:24 a.m.): Flight 11 Turns, Many Watch It on Primary Radar

Boston flight control radar sees Flight 11 making an unplanned 100-degree turn to the south (the plane is already way off course). Flight controllers never lose sight of the flight, though they can no longer determine altitude once the transponder is turned off.

8:37 a.m.: Flight 11 Enters New York Control Space

Flight 11 passes from Boston flight control airspace into New York flight control airspace. Flight controller John Hartling takes over monitoring the plane. However, when a colleague tells him the flight is hijacked, he is incredulous: “I didn't believe him. Because I didn't think that that stuff would happen anymore, especially in this country.” [MSNBC, 9/11/02 (B)]

8:37 a.m.: Flight 175 Pilots Asked to Look for Flight 11


Flight controllers ask the United Airlines Flight 175 pilots to look for a lost American Airlines plane 10 miles to the south—a reference to Flight 11. They respond that they can see it. They are told to keep away from it. [Guardian, 10/17/01; Boston Globe, 11/23/01; 9/11 Commission Report, 6/17/04] Apparently, Flight 175 is not told Flight 11 has been hijacked. Flight 175 itself is hijacked a few minutes later (see 8:41 a.m.).


8:38 a.m.: Flight 11 Pilot Stops Activating Talk Back Button

8:41 a.m.: Flight 175 Reports Suspicious Flight 11 Radio Transmission; Hijacked Moments Later

The pilots of Flight 175 tell ground control about Flight 11, “We figured we'd wait to go to your center. We heard a suspicious transmission on our departure out of Boston. Someone keyed the mic and said, ‘Everyone stay in your seats.’ It cut out.” [Guardian, 10/17/01; Newsday, 9/10/02; New York Times, 10/16/01] An alternate version: “We heard a suspicious transmission on our departure from B-O-S [Boston's airport code]. Sounds like someone keyed the mic and said, ‘Everyone, stay in your seats.’ ” [Boston Globe, 11/23/01] The last transmission from Flight 175, still discussing this message, comes a few seconds before 8:42 a.m. [New York Times, 10/16/01] Presumably Flight 175 is hijacked within the next minute.


8:44 a.m.: Other Pilots Notice Flight 175's Emergency Signal Flight 11 ELT (Already Crashed)


8:46 a.m.: Flight 175 Changes Transponder Signal but Remains Easily Traceable

Flight 175 stops transmitting its transponder signal. It is 50 miles north of New York City, headed toward Baltimore. [9/11 Commission Report, 6/17/04; Newsday, 9/10/02; Guardian, 10/17/01] However, the transponder is turned off for only about 30 seconds, and then changed to a signal that is not designated for any plane on that day. 8:50 a.m.: Last Radio Contact with Flight 77 

 The last radio contact with Flight 77 is made when a pilot asks for clearance to fly higher. However, six minutes later, the plane fails to respond to a routine instruction. Presumably, it is hijacked during that time. Indianapolis flight control center is handling the plane by this time. 9:30 a.m.: Flight 93 Requests a New Flight Plan


9:35 a.m.: Silent Flight 93 Climbs and Drops; NORAD Still Not Notified


9:36 a.m.-10:06 a.m.: Military Claims it is Tracking Flight 93 and Ready to Shoot it Down; 9/11 Commission Says Otherwise

The transponder for Flight 93 briefly turns back on. The plane is at 7,000 feet. The transponder stays on until about 10:03 a.m. It is unclear why the transponder signal briefly returns. [Guardian]

(Before 10:06 a.m.): Fighters Trailing Flight 93?

Five days after the attacks, on September 16, CBS television reports that two F-16 fighters were tailing the flight and within 60 miles of the plane when it went down.


About seven months later, Anthony Kuczynski tells the University of St. Thomas’s weekly newspaper that he had flown toward Pittsburgh alongside two F-16s. He said he was piloting an E-3 Sentry AWACS plane, with advanced radar and surveillance equipment that could be used to direct fighters to their targets. He was just about to intercept Flight 93 when it crashed. He says, “I was given direct orders to shoot down an airliner.”

"I think all of us have a sense if we imagine the kind of world we would face if the people who bombed the mess hall in Mosul, or the people who did the bombing in Spain, or the people who attacked the United States in New York, shot down the plane over Pennsylvania and attacked the Pentagon, the people who cut off peoples' heads on television to intimidate, to frighten – indeed the word 'terrorized' is just that. Its purpose is to terrorize, to alter behavior, to make people be something other than that which they want to be."


Remote Military Hijacking

"Well, I discussed it with the president. Are we prepared to order our aircraft to shoot down these airliners that have been hijacked? He said yes...  I--it was my advice. It was his decision."(Vice President Dick Cheney, September 11, 2001, source CBS News Archives) [Well, he couldn’t hear Dick Cheney well on 9/11 because of poor transmission on Air Force One, which George Bush later complained about, so it was Cheney’s call noting the unexpected delay of the prescribed Flight93 mission, similar to Flight77].
