for the upcoming Annual Journal ‘KRISTI”,

New Delhi, India

anticipation of a Happy World coexisting in peace and harmonyJ.
I
take the opportunity to announce the launching of a scholarly annual journal ‘KRISTI’ in
memory of (Late) Dr. Priyatosh Banerjee, an eminent Art Historian
on India & Central Asia. The first issue was published
in June, 2008, for domestic and international distribution; Volume II in July
2009 and Volume III in December 2010.
The aim of the journal is to provide a forum for scholarly
articles, research
notes, and book reviews of the highest quality from
cultures around the world including South-East Asia, Middle East, Central Asia,
East Asia and South Asia and will cover the following spectrum of
disciplines: anthropology, archaeology, art, history, history of science and
medicine, linguistics, literature, musicology, philosophy, and religious
studies – emphasizing on peace and environment.
It
is my pleasure to let you know that renowned (Hon.) Editors* from parts
of the world have been illuminating the journal as the Board of Editors and scholars
around the world have been contributing articles for the ongoing Volumes. We
will be delighted to add your article/notes/reviews that meet the requirements
of Kristi’s mission.
